
Bibiana Vasquez Lujan, 90 from Marfa, Texas died, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at home. She was born on January 10, 1935, in Marfa and was a devoted Catholic. Bibiana married Eduardo Lujan on January 15, 1949, and had seven children.
Affectionately known for her loving nature and calming energy, Bibiana was a shining light in all the lives who had the privilege of knowing her. She always greeted you with a loving smile and at your departure, with a warm embrace and a blessing of the Sign of the Cross. Her funny nature, quick wit and laughter will always be remembered; it was absolutely infectious. She was devoted to her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren. She was a housewife that loved to cook, bake and watch Sabado Gigante and her novelas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Lujan; her parents; her sister, Emma; and great-grandsons Andrew Madrid and Joey Edwards.
Survivors include her three sons, Ernest Lujan, Ismael Lujan and wife Felita, Eddie Lujan and wife Diana; and four daughters — Delia Piñeda, Betty Salas and husband Pablo, Martha Segura and husband Philip, and Linda Aguilar and husband Freddy. Bibiana was also fortunate to be blessed with 23 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Salas, Ronnie Martinez, Jonathon Lujan, Freddy Aguilar Jr., Nathan Muhle and Jonathan Muhle. Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Retana, Abe Lujan, Sergio Sanchez, and Abel Lugo.
Services for Bibiana are as follows: St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 211 W. San Antonio Street in Marfa, Texas on Saturday, July 19, with the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m., and funeral Mass at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Cementerio de la Merced.
