A caravan of anti-wall protestors made its way from Lajitas to Redford Sunday morning, including cars and trucks adorned with signs and flags. The gathering was a celebration of sorts because of the recent two-week pause (an extension of an existing one) for construction in Big Bend National Park.

The caravan ended with burgers and pool time in Redford. There, former park ranger Mike Ryan, archaeologist David Keller and river outfitter Charlie Angell gave updates on the battle against the wall and thanked the dozens in attendance for their efforts.
