MARFA — Police officers responded to a report of shots fired outside the Planet Marfa bar at 200 S. Abbot Street on Friday around 11:45 p.m, according to Police Chief Gilberto Carrillo. After interviewing witnesses, it appeared that a group of men had gotten into an altercation when the shots were heard, he said.
Carrillo said the investigation is still underway and no arrests have been made. The rest of the Marfa Lights weekend was peaceful with no public safety issues, he added.
