
Darryl Andrea Williams, born on January 25, 1963, in Sumter, South Carolina, passed away on July 13, 2025. He is remembered for his deep love of God, his passion for playing poker, and his ability to enjoy life to the fullest. Darryl was a devoted son and brother, leaving behind his beloved sister, Lajuan Williams Bass (Kevin), his cherished son, DeAndre’ Williams (Jamie), eight grandchildren and five nephews.
Darryl honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, embodying the values of service and dedication. Following his time in the military, he pursued an associate’s degree, further showcasing his commitment to continuous growth and development. Residing in Terlingua, Texas, he was a revered member of his community, where his vibrant personality and infectious laughter often brought people together.
A memorial service was held on July 23 at noon at American Legion Post #653 located at 51470 Highway TX-118, Alpine, TX 79830, where family and friends gathered to celebrate Darryl’s life and the many memories shared. His legacy of joy, faith, and camaraderie will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Williams Sr. and Willie Faye Williams, and brothers, David Williams and Morris (Moy) Williams Jr.
