

TRI-COUNTY — Guitar in the Big Bend and Sul Ross State University Music Program announced that acclaimed international concert artists, Duo Fortis, will be coming to Alpine and Marfa for two concerts and a masterclass.
Performing together as Duo Fortis, Isaac Bustos and Alejandro Montiel (both Professors of Guitar at the University of Texas at San Antonio), have traveled the world performing and teaching. In the fall season of 2024 alone, Duo Fortis performed and taught in Columbia, Argentina and Chile along with various locations throughout the United States.
Guitar in the Big Bend events are made possible by generous support from The City of Alpine, The Hotel Paisano, West Texas National Bank, and Sul Ross State University Music Program.
